Double-Sided Card

A card is double-sided if neither of its sides has a card back (player, villain, or encounter).

• When a double-sided card would enter an out-of-play area other than the victory display or set-aside area, it is removed from the game.

• If a double-sided card has “Standard Mode Only” and “Expert Mode Only” sides, it is put into play with the “Expert Mode Only” side faceup if the players are playing expert mode. Otherwise, the card is put into play with the “Standard Mode Only” side faceup.
